About the Job
Join a professional team of caring individuals supporting older adults in our community. This key position provides administrative support to the Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program. Serves an adult population with dementia, physical impairments and intellectual disabilities. Provides general administrative support to the ADHC team, caregivers, participants, and other county departments who work together to provide care (i.e., Fastran, Department of Family Services, and Area Agency on Aging). Must have the desire to interact with adults who need extra support and work independently in an unconventional office setting with frequent distractions. Must be knowledgeable in Department of Social Services and Medicaid regulations. Assists in determining financial eligibility for the program, prepares monthly billing statements for both Medicaid and private pay clients, tracks and processes payment information. Assists with statistical reporting, budget preparation and in preparing the monthly newsletter and calendar for the center.
