Office Manager for NHC HomeCare Chattanooga
NHC Homecare Chattanooga is looking for an Office Manager to join our team! The Office Manager coordinates and supervises general clerical, payroll, and billing operations of the homecare office.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Additional business and computer courses/college degree desirable.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in computer data entry, accounting, related field, or general office work in a home health or related setting preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with particular ability to pay attention to details
Position Highlights:
- Responsible for the effective day-to-day HomeCare agency clerical processes, under the direction of the agency Administrator or Director of Services
- Supervising, recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, developing, and disciplining clerical staff;
- Maintenance of confidential personnel files for all staff;
- Serving as the location's benefits expert;
- Assisting with orientation/training of non-clerical staff, as it pertains to office functions
- Reception and secretarial services
- Telephone/reception duties, including rolling phones and informing answering service of nurse(s) on-call
- Billing-related activities including timely audit, data entry, MR maintenance, processing of physician/allowed practitioner orders, and transmissions of electronic data
- Payroll activities
