About the Job
Vaco is assisting a Birmingham client who is looking for an organized and proactive Office Manager to be the backbone of their office operations.
Job Summary:
As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our office
Your role will ensure that the office runs smoothly, efficiently, and is a productive workspace for their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration: Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
Coordinate office maintenance and repairs.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to executives and staff, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and managing office documents.
Financial Duties: Assist with budget management, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
Human Resources: Oversee onboarding of new employees, maintain employee records, and assist with HR-related inquiries.
Event Coordination: Plan and organize office events, meetings, and company gatherings.
Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external communications
Handle inquiries and address concerns promptly.
Compliance: Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in office management or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
