Tahoe Family Hearing Clinic, PC, a privately-owned Audiology practice in South Lake Tahoe, CA is seeking an Office Manager to join our team. We have been helping patients in our community since September 2022 and we are passionate about providing both the best patient experience and industry leading hearing healthcare technology the market has to offer.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:
• Manage patient scheduling including discussing patient requirements, confirming patient details, and scheduling appointments in alignment with provider requirements
• Foster patient satisfaction and improve clinic productivity
• Insurance verifications & prior authorizations
• Maintain and foster strategic vendor relationships including invoicing department
• Maintain patient records & manage patient charts
• Inventory management in electronic medical records system
• Extensive customer service utilizing email, phone calls, text messages, and in-person interactions
• Audiology aide: responsibilities include but are not limited to equipment troubleshooting, understanding different age appropriate testing philosophies, explaining testing instructions to patients and families in a concise manner, assisting audiologist / hearing aid dispenser with patient care and other office related functions, staging office for optimal patient care
• Process hearing aid orders, cleanings, and repairs
• HIPAA compliance and ethics
• Assist operations with office management
• Community outreach
To ensure success, candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a medical office
• Minimum 3 years sales or customer services experience
• Proficiency in insurance verifications, authorizations, and other required patient benefit determination
• Demonstrated experience building strong positive relationships with patients, strategic vendors, and community members
• An ability to communicate verbally and in writing with utmost clarity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
• Proficiency with Google Suite of products
• Applicant is expected to have extensive experience working with industry standard electronic medical records platform(s)
• High School Diploma
• Business school or Associate degree preferred
