LOCATION: At Uintah Basin Association of Governments located at
330 East 100 South Roosevelt, UT 84066
HOURS: Full time, 40 hours a week
BENEFITS: This position is entitled to Health insurance covered at 95%. Also receive holiday, annual and sick leave accrual. As an organization we pay into a 401k and a 457 retirement plan.
BASE RATE: Hourly range $16.97 -- 18.57, based upon experience.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Performs various duties to assist the HEAT Program Manager and team members in delivering the HEAT Program to the public within Uintah, Duchesne and Daggett counties.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Determines eligibility for the HEAT program as outlined in the policy manual through in person interviews, mail in, outreach and online applications. Calculates requirements of an application to determine a monetary benefit to be paid to the utility companies. Then inputs provided documentation into a state program while abiding by complex procedure and policies.
2. Refers clients to other community resources based on client need, (e.g. Weatherization, Community Services, Division of Workforce Services, etc.)
3. Acts as a liaison on behalf of the client when communicating with utility companies.
4. Handles clients' questions and problems relating to HEAT applications.
5. Completes and submits all necessary documentation (applications, time sheets, mileage, etc.) in a timely manner.
6. Performs other duties as assigned by the HEAT Program Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education and Experience:
a. High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related full-time work experience.
2. Knowledge and Skills:
a. Good oral and written communication
b. Quality computer abilities
c. Problem solving
3. Essential Ability:
a. Customer service expertise
b. Accuracy across all work
c. Detailed oriented
d. Organized
e. Wiling to be certified in eRep
