Office Support Float – Full Time
The Office Support Float will be trained in both medical and dental front offices and the call center. This position will fill in as needed for coverage during scheduled and unscheduled time off as assigned by supervisor. Position will provide coverage for both our Somersworth and Portsmouth offices. Candidates for this position must be adaptable, a quick learner, detail oriented, reliable and able to thrive with change in a fast paced environment.

Salary Range: $19.00 per hour and onward
Job Duties
- Greet patients with a friendly professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Explain services including basic eligibility guidelines and sliding fee scale.
- Collect deposits, verify and complete all required paperwork from/with patient.
- Verify insurance eligibility.
- Provide receipt for payment and enter into computer system
- Perform front office tasks from list of responsibilities of each front office station.
- Answer calls/make calls with a friendly professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Voicemails are taken off in a timely manner set by practice manager
- Effectively use phone System
- Assists Medical Records as directed by Medical Records staff/practice manager
Qualifications
- Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Computer literacy and proficient typing skills required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player and ability to work independently
- Customer service-oriented.
- Ethical understanding of confidentiality and personal health information (PHI) data management
- HIPAA-compliant

This position is eligible for retention bonus of up to $1,500.00
