About the Job
Responsibilities:
•Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and integrate data from various sources into our BI platforms.
•Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
•Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for reporting and analytics.
•Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in BI solutions to enhance speed and efficiency.
•Data Visualization: Develop intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
•Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand their requirements and provide the necessary data infrastructure and tools.
•Documentation: Document data sources, processes, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainable systems.
•Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
•Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to utilize BI tools effectively.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
•Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
•Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
•Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
•Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. (AWS preferred)
•Excellent communication, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
•Knowledge of automotive industry data is a plus.
