Position: Online Communications Associate – Development – Corporate

Position Summary:
The Online Development Communication Associate will report to the Online Development Communication Manager. This role supports senior Development staff in creating and managing web and email content for major gift solicitations, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate has expertise in digital design, email and web content production, and proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Drupal, Classy (from gofundme) and Piwik, ensuring high-quality support for our ongoing campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

Web and Email Design and Content Development

• Update and edit web content and graphics on nyp.org’s giving pages using Drupal content components and/or HTML/CSS overides.
• Design and format graphics and copy for SFMC emails, Cloud Pages, Classy campaigns, and donation forms with external designers to support fundraising campaigns, and crowdfunding initiatives
• Provide guidelines for web and email content to ensure compliance with NYP Digital Marketing and web accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with Online Development Communications Manager, Specialists, and Development Communications Project Manager and other cross-functional teams to align on online campaigns and content development.

Web Analytics

• Assist in tracking and analyzing web traffic and email engagement using Piwik.
• Implement UTM parameters for multi-channel tracking.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support the analytics needs of various teams.
• Work with Development Communications, Donor Engagement, and Annual Programs teams to target segmented audiences in SFMC.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.

“Requires on-site presence, four days a week; therefore, should live within a commutable distance.  No relocation assistance available.”

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal).
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of graphic/UX design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Criteria:

• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (Webex Teams, Box, Smartsheet).
• Analytical skills in web content management and email marketing.
• Experience in transforming print collateral into digital formats.

Salary Range:

$58,500-$79,000
