Onsite Fitness Professional - Simplex Health

We are in search of a motivated and creative fitness specialist for a full time hourly position of 32-40 hours per week available at one or more of our managed Fitness Centers located in or around the Greater Philadelphia area. Must be able to travel to one or all locations including King of Prussia, West Chester, Malvern and/or Frazier.

As a Fitness Specialist, your duties will include the following:

• Provide high level customer service and hospitality to members
• Provide floor supervision and maintenance of the fitness center and equipment
• Assist members with any questions about the fitness center through knowledge of the equipment and services
• Coordinate and/or conduct personal training and other fitness services (wellness assessments, equipment orientations) - commission offered for sessions held while onsite
• Provide individual and group exercise instruction; educates participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness
• Assist management in daily tasks and project
• Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative
• Assist members with their wellness goal
• Provide daily routine cleaning of exercise equipment.

Certifications:
Must have a Personal Training or Group Exercise Certification from an accredited organization and/or a degree in Exercise Science or related field

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Hourly Rate: $18 based on experience
• Personal Training Commission paid on top of base wage during hours onsite
