Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to oversee the company's IT systems and operations. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure, overseeing partner relationships, while also providing support and guidance to the IT team.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and have logistics industry experience, strong functional knowledge of EDI, ERP systems, and other business applications, and a successful track-record of managing service provider relationships.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, and is based on-site in the Portland, ME or Charlotte, NC areas. Occasional travel to the other locations is required, as necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technology strategies and policies in line with the company's objectives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and security of the company's hardware, software, and network systems.
- Evaluate and recommend recent technologies and software to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Lead a team of dedicated IT professionals, providing coaching, training, and support to ensure that they meet their objectives and succeed in their roles.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their technological needs and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Manage the IT budget and ensure that all expenses are within budget and in line with the company's financial goals.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and protocols to ensure business continuity in the event of a technological crisis.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements and make recommendations for the adoption of new and innovative technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or sufficient relevant experience.
- Logistics Industry experience highly preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years directly related work experience in a technical position supporting business applications.
- EDI functional experience required.
- ERP experience required; NetSuite experience preferred.
- Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- Experience supporting Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Office 2016 and later, Internet Explorer, Chrome, SharePoint, etc.
- Help Desk experience and some experience with programming, scripting, and macros desirable. SQL experience helpful.
- Experience planning and overseeing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- A+ Certification required. MCSE certification(s) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365 and Teams are required.
