Certification from an accredited OR Tech training program

Previous experience working in a surgical setting

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Advanced knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Experience with robotic surgery equipment

CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Professional membership with organizations such as the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST)

High school diploma or GED
