About the Job
Scope of Job:
Responsible for creating and maintaining schedules for
various departments within the park. Scheduling
Coordinators will also be involved in monitoring guest
flow throughout the park and coordinating staff
movement where needed. The Scheduling Coordinators
will also assist in collating operational data and ensuring
accuracy of staff and scheduling databases.
Key Objectives:
▪ Works with scheduling software to produce week staffing schedules
delivered to standard.
▪ Monitors guest flow throughout the park
▪ Coordinates day to day staffing adjustments as dictated by park
operation and guest flow including call outs, early closes, park hour
extensions, or low attendance.
▪ Collects data as needed by Central Planning Management team.
Main Responsibilities:
▪ Completes schedules of assigned departments and zones accurately
and on time.
▪ Inputs and adjusts staff availability in scheduling software
▪ Ensures accuracy of line schedules/labor matrices used according to
operating hours and attendance forecasts.
▪ Participates in Central Planning Duty shifts
▪ Receives staff call outs and works to fill staffing vacancies through
calling in staff or adjusting existing staff.
▪ Participates in regular meetings with park management team regarding
scheduling needs
▪ Tracks training records for all staff to ensure correct compliance and
safety protocols when scheduling.
▪ Assists with collating and tracking various metrics regarding staff, park,
weather, KPIs and guest data, etc.
▪ Performs other duties as assigned.
Health & Safety:
Abide but all Park Compliance rules and SOPs when assigning staff to shifts.

they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that
they undertake and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have
not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are
reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as
appropriate.
Physical Demands:
▪ Ability to sit for sustained periods of time to attend on-site and off-site
meetings, perform paperwork activities, travel and drive.
▪ Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park
site, and interact with employees.
▪ Finger dexterity sufficient to complete paperwork activities and to use a
computer.
▪ Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials, to complete paperwork
activities, and to drive.
▪ Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by
telephone.
Work Environment:
Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
Other Job Requirements:
▪ Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to
support park operations.

Qualifications & Experience:Background and Experience:
At least 2 years of theme park or hospitality experience in a scheduling role or lead
or above required. A hospitality degree or bachelor's in business management is
preferred. Must show high aptitude in the use of all Microsoft Office modules. Open
availability to be able to support theme park operational hours. Comfortable around
various forms of software and technology in terms of troubleshooting and
administration. Strong written and verbal communicator. Flexible, Pragmatic, Action
Oriented Problem Solver.
