Complies necessary data and submit to supervisor for review and final action. Provides information regarding activity operations to proper officials if the supervisor is absent. Types correspondence, reports, forms and other related material pertaining to operations. Types purchase orders for authorized customer, special order merchandise, and related documents required for activity. May supervise and/or provide working direction to clerk or other employees as required. Oversees Cash Office, ATM, Front End Operation, Customer Service and Special Orders. Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise. React to all concerns of customers quickly with a sense of importance. Follow all policies regarding Loss Prevention. Be aware and proactive regarding shrink and the Alert Line. Ensure all associates are in compliance with established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements. Key carrier, weekends and opening and closing the store will be required. May be responsible for overall store in absence of management.Other duties as assigned.You will be evaluated for this position based on how well you meet the qualifications below. Please see additional information on how your application is evaluated.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Minimum:1.Experience operating a cash register and in closing out and balancing daily cash office paperwork.2.Prior retail experience in supervision of Cash Office, Front End and/ or Customer Service Desk equivalent to a cashier/checker lead.Preferred (in addition to the minimum): 1.Current USCG NAF cashier/checker leader with at least 1 year of experience as a cash office and front-end supervisor. And/or2.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with emphasis in retail or business administration with at least two years of specialized experience.
