Berkley Technology Underwriters is a global insurance provider, offering property, casualty, professional and cyber insurance coverage for technology firms and businesses with technology exposure.
Responsibilities:This position will provide operational and administrative support to both Berkley Human Services and Berkley Technology Underwriters.
- Responsible for general office support to include, but not limited to:
- Manage various email inboxes from internal and external customers and field associated questions
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls from internal and external customers and field associated questions
- Work with Berkley Risk Office Services team to order office supplies for the 26th floor
- Assist with building facilities support
- Manage ongoing executive travel
- Complete expense reporting for Company President’s and other executives
- Manage annual Super Producers travel which will require significant organization for multiple groups of attendees
- Coordinate company events and assist with arrangements for company visitors
- Greet and assist company visitors
- Order lunches for meetings and group events
- Order appropriate gifts for funerals, births, etc. for employees
- Support the agency appointment set up and licensing process
- Provide support to Marketing and Risk Control
- Provide support to Underwriting such as MVR-ordering and Loss Runs
- Participate on engagement teams
- Assist with updates to company intranets
- Provide overall operational support as requested
May perform other functions as assigned
Qualifications:- Minimum of one year office experience
- Effective communication skills with customer service orientation
- Proficient written communication skills
- Self-motivated fast learner who is detail oriented
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Intermediate PC skills and a working knowledge in a Windows environment
Education
High school degree or GED
