We are a progressive political firm working with candidates, campaigns, and organizations to move public opinion, reshape electorates and mobilize the grassroots. Recent clients include Biden/Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Stacey Abrams, Southern Poverty Law Center, New Georgia Project, DSCC and national c3 and c4 tables and organizations.
Position: VS is seeking an Operations Associate to support our innovative program in a competitive congressional race. The Operations Associate will report directly to the Organizing Director with additional guidance from Operations leadership. This is a full-time position paid at $5,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Someone that is highly detail oriented and has previous experience in a customer or tech support position would be especially well-suited for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support organizing operations by being highly responsive and timely with onboarding needs for program participants
- Coordinate with Data team to ensure accurate payment of program participants, including sending regular onboarding reports and issue resolution
- Manage incoming communications and address pay corrections in a timely fashion
- Review weekly timesheets for accuracy and completeness
- Support leadership in refining and improving processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficient with digital campaign tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc. and the ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Responsive and clear communicator who collaborates with generously with team members
- Excellent organizational skills - Prior experience demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage details to efficiently multitask
- Has the capacity and willingness to work long hours during busy times, rolling up their sleeves and getting the work done.
- Cultural competency — someone who is able to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and others who identify as POCI and across lines of difference
- Commitment to advancing progressive values at the local, state, and federal level
