We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team and deliver premium service to our residential clients.
Essential Job Functions:
Procurement
- Management and Governance of the Purchase-to-Pay process to ensure separation of duties and process integrity.
- Spend management to ensure spending is directed to the preferred vendors as detailed in the Enterprise Sourcing strategy.
- Maintenance of vendor Price Lists in Service Titan to ensure pricing is updated and any price increases are approved by the Operations leadership team.
- Ensure timely placement of POs for large equipment orders to support business needs.
Warehouse
- Define and document SOPs to ensure day-to-day warehouse activities are compliant with Stan’s standards and best-in-class for category.
- Implement onboarding Service Titan & Sage Intaact Inventory & Purchasing work flows as required for greenfield expansion.
- Monitor material usage as a percent of revenue in accordance with established P&L budgetary guidelines per entity and implement improvement action plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Define optimal warehouse and truck stock by entity to include min/max to eliminate out of stocks and streamline replenishment process.
- Ensure warehouse and truck physical inventory processes adherence, report outcomes and ensure variances are contained within established guidelines.
- Collaborate with branch management to provide SKU rationalization for materials sourced and manage parts database ensuring accuracy for new and existing materials.
- Collaborate with branch management to define the process for technician supply house purchasing program and provide visibility to materials purchasing by category to the organization.
Fleet and Facilities
- Ensure all technicians maintain Stan’s vehicle maintenance standards for recalls, scheduled maintenance, and any unplanned maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation is current and accessible.
- Collaborate with Fleet Manager to ensure local branch adherence to Stan’s Fleet policies, P&L goals and procedures and future Fleet expansion needs.
- Ensure terms and conditions of lease are met by tenant/landlord and ensure applicable contractors in place with regards to maintenance, cleanliness, landscaping and snow removal of each location.
- Manage planning, pricing and execution of contractors for build-out, renovation and other projects as they arise.
- Local policy management of the Enterprise programs for Uniforms and Hand Tools.
Safety
- Keep and maintain OSHA logs and reports, maintain Safety requirements and training.
- Develop and maintain positive culture across branch operations of always servicing internal customers.
- Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Abilties:
- Strong communication skills; oral and written.
- Sound business acumen ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Expertise in Project Management.
- Outstanding customer service skills and team-oriented perspective.
- Proven leadership and communication skills at all levels in an organization.
- Analytical Skills: review, interpret, draw conclusions and formulate proactive solutions.
- Ability to solve complex business problems, develop appropriate action plans and manage resources.
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; communication skills (oral and written), process improvement.
- Excellent time management and ability to multi-task with high sense of urgency.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
Experience/Education:
- 5+ years of related operational and managerial experience required with documented/exceptional results.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven track record of developing teams and implementing systems and processes.
- Strong computer proficiency in MS Office suite, Service Titan and Sage InTacct applications required.
Compensation:
- $60,000-80,000 annually plus bonus opportunity
