Position Summary
Trideum Corporation is seeking qualified candidates for an Operations Manager position in the Orlando, FL area. This is a full-time position and involves program management for multiple federal contracts, spanning a breadth of modeling and simulation, software development, training and training development, engineering and analysis efforts that will report to the Director, Training Services & Solutions.
What You’ll Do
Duties: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead business development activities that enable growing and sustaining Trideum work while identifying new opportunities.
- Lead one or more large federal contracting efforts supporting multiple client organizations. Oversee macro-level scheduling, quality management, and financial execution for assigned efforts. Collaborate across the organization with other Trideum Operations Managers and Program Managers to identify, develop, and disseminate best practices associated with program/project management.
- Liaise with clients for programmatic matters; work in concert with on-site project leadership regarding technical execution and with contracts management staff on contractual issues.
- Coordinate with specified prime and subcontractor Points of Contact (POC) regarding contract execution.
- Support candidate recruiting/screening/hiring efforts, as is necessary to sustain a high-quality workforce, sustaining the Trideum Culture and providing the Trideum Experience to our workforce. Represent workforce issues to corporate leadership.
- Coordinate with administrative support staff (e.g., personnel administration, security, finance/payroll, property management, etc.) assigned to support subordinate Program Managers.
- Oversee all contractor support activities to assign proper personnel to individual task orders, publish monthly reports, coordinate invoicing, review statements of work and funding issues, and hire appropriate personnel as required.
- Manage and control plans, schedules, and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, or Engineering.
- Ten years of demonstrated, successful Program Management experience for Department of Defense (DoD) contracts of similar size and scope to the efforts managed. A portion of this experience must fall within the last three years. This experience may have been from military service, as a Government civilian, or as a contract employee.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit/screen/hire/retain a highly technical workforce, relevant to the work underway in this market.
- Strong written and oral communications skills. This includes advanced proficiency with the portfolio of Office 365 products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and reputation for excellence in the Orlando market.
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Fifteen years of demonstrated successful Program Management experience.
- Recent, prior experience managing a multiple task order awarded contract.
- Demonstrated experience with team collaboration tools (SharePoint, OneNote, etc.).
- An understanding of, and ability to apply project management techniques such as Expected Value Management, Gantt charts, communications plans (RACI charts), etc.
- Familiarity and recent active involvement in the Training and Education community is preferred in activities such as I/ITSEC.
- Familiarity with ISO-certified Quality Management Systems (QMS).
