Olive Recruiting is looking for an Operations Manager for a client in Atlanta, GA. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the equipment, assets, and warehouse(s) operations.

Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate activities across departments to ensure that all materials, labor, equipment, and necessary items are available per job-specific or customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in job walks, perform equipment inspections, review budget constraints, and provide overall guidance to operations and other departments as needed.
- Oversee administrative functions in assigned areas, including training, onboarding, report generation, record-keeping, schedule approvals, and logistics coordination.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are prepared and available to maintain smooth operations.
- Establish and implement operational protocols related to staffing, safety measures, information dissemination, and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight for inventory, delivery, or utilization.
- Ensure the repair and maintenance of rigging equipment is conducted effectively.
- Set and manage departmental goals and objectives in partnership with other team leaders.
- Oversee warehouse compliance with lease agreements.
- Evaluate processes to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company or customer specifications.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for employee and team development, addressing minor issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Represent the organization professionally to external customers, vendors, agencies, and on-site contractors.
- Perform any additional duties as required and assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in construction, operations, warehouse/distribution management, or a related field is essential; Direct experience in rigging and/or the crane industry highly preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze situations from multiple perspectives using deductive and inductive reasoning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of staff.
- Ability to motivate others to work safely and efficiently while considering environmental impacts and minimizing waste.
- Proficient in using a Windows-based computer system, including various software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, personnel, job sites, or resources simultaneously.
