The QA Auditor is responsible for performing audits in the distribution center to ensure compliance to shipping and receiving procedures and overall Quality Management System. The QA Auditor will also support investigations and management of quarantine and non-conforming product (Hold, Expired, Damages, Return, Rework, and Recall) in accordance to procedures.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Check specified orders as directed to ensure all requirements are met, including quantity, batch number, material number, special instructions, etc.
Communicate with inventory control, order pickers, leads and supervisors regarding improvements, discrepancies, and concerns.
Ensure all random inspection records are prepared in a timely manner and forwarded to QA.
Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED, required.
Experience in Supply Chain and/or Distribution Center Operations, preferred.
Knowledge and experience with Medical Device regulations, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR 820, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
General distribution knowledge.
Highly proficient in the use of a PC, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational, analytical and process efficiency skills
Initiative and drive for results

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all. Employee must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
