SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role supports the receiving, material handling, and shipping of prototype medical devices and components. The position is responsible for all receiving activities, transferring materials to Quality Assurance for inspection, material handling between warehouse and clean room, kitting of experimental work orders for production, and shipping of prototype devices for sterilization. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, which includes executing regular inventory cycle counts.
u´ Prototype Builds :
Key duties and responsibilities include:
u´ Receiving of materials and components used in the manufacture of medical devices
u´ Transacting inventory within the warehouse, out to the production floor, or to individual requestors
u´ Collecting components into kits of material for work orders or for Kanban bins on the production lines
u´ Shipping of completed prototype assemblies out to sterilization or to other facilities within the company
u´ Maintaining an accurate physical count of materials within both the stockroom and the production floor
u´ Documenting all materials transactions, both on paper and electronically for traceability purposes
u´ Recommend improvements to the processes, as needed
u´ Inventory Control and Tracking :
Key duties and responsibilities include:
u´ Assist with receipt of raw materials and components, including unpacking, coordination of release testing and documentation.
u´ Pre kitting Work Orders
u´ Keeping warehouse and inventory locations clean and organized
u´ Organizational :
u´ Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
u´ Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
u´ Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
u´ Works under general to limited supervision.
u´ Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
u´ Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.

The job can require lifting and/or moving over 50 lbs.
