This is a full-time, hourly position.
Job Summary:
The Bulk Receiving Operator is an hourly position and is responsible for safely receiving and inventorying all incoming bulk ingredients.
Work Duties and Required Skills
+ Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.
+ Receive inbound ingredients to the desired bins.
+ Proficient in computer programs for inventory management.
+ Ability to operate hand truck, forklift, and pallet jack.
+ Assure product is properly inspected before receiving into the plant and meet all of ADM receiving specifications. Notify Plant Leadership as necessary, if any out-of-spec quality conditions exist.
+ Unload ingredient trucks per standard operating procedure (SOP).
+ Practice good customer service procedures per Customer Service Guidelines:
+ Customer Service Guidelines includes being prompt and courteous, unloading customer’s trucks according to ADM ANI procedures within a reasonable amount of time with minimum customer delays.
+ Accurate reporting with necessary paperwork.
+ Participate in shift exchange review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.
+ Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues in the Bulk Receiving position.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership
+ At times, overtime will be required
