Overview:
The Ops Tech Support Analyst will support the Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate in achieving Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM) compliance through the integration of the BAT with CAST Imaging. This integration will enhance project management, system engineering, and software development capabilities for BES Programs, while ensuring secure code development, effective compliance management, and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Analyze organizational operations to identify problems and develop effective solutions, drafting procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Gather and secure information through employee and customer interviews, report reviews, operational analysis, and database assessments, determining relevant data and analysis methods.
- Document and present findings and recommendations in detailed reports.
- Develop practical solutions by defining system or process requirements, analyzing alternatives, and preparing system specifications using statistical analysis, simulations, and optimization techniques.
- Identify workflow and system improvements, providing advice to management and collaborating with operations teams to implement changes.
- Collaborate with analytical teams on complex issues and assist employee teams in implementing proposals.
- Develop project estimates, including phases, personnel requirements, and costs.
- Provide system support, write documentation, conduct training, and meet with users post-implementation to assess system effectiveness.
- Maintain and enforce organization standards, ensuring system integrity and security.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, building personal networks, and benchmarking best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years work experience directly relating to operations tech support analysis
- Secret Clearance
Highly Desired:
- Skills in developing documentation, providing training, and offering post-implementation support to employees and customers on new or revised systems.
- Willingness to attend workshops, review professional literature, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices to ensure system integrity and protect sensitive information.
- Documentation and Reporting: Proficiency in documenting configuration processes, maintaining detailed records, and generating reports for compliance and audits.
- Must be able to pass a background screening
