About the Job
Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for account specialists in the Hartford and Fairfield areas for a national fiber internet provider. Account specialists promote and sell internet, TV and phone service at assigned apartment buildings and other locations around Hartford.
Temp-to-hire
Work times vary based on events. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours and have reliable transportation.
The salary is $20-$25/hour, plus $50 commission per signup.
Job Responsibilities:
- Use sales skills for customer acquisition
- Utilize various acquisition channels such as flyers, events, digital, presentations, etc. for customer acquisition
- Input customer information and process orders for services
- Provide information about the products and services
- Document and update customer records
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales or related field
- A valid driver’s license and reliable access to transportation
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
