PA- Processing Maintenance - Herbruck Poultry Ranch

Herbruck's of PA is looking for motivated individuals to build our local team! Herbruck's is based out of Michigan and has expanded to Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. With locations in Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, Herbruck's supplies nearly 3 billion farm-fresh eggs and 55 million pounds of liquid egg product to retailers and foodservice outlets across the nation annually. Our flock has grown from 3,000 egg-laying hens in the late 1950s to 10 million today.

This position is in the Processing facilities.  

1. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, general maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of production machines, conveyors systems and supporting equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions.
2. Complete and document with accuracy all required forms
3. Maintains continuity between maintenance by documenting and/or communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. 
4. Monitor and correct situations which activate the HACCP alarming control system
5. Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
6. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
7. Adjusts functional parts of equipment by using hand tools, measuring devices, levels and straightedges.
8. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal networks, etc.
9. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
11. Must have electrical experience.
12. Egg grading maintenance experience preferred
13. Does not maintain or have regular contact with birds, pigs or cattle.
