PBM Benefit Coordinator

Job Summary:
The PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) Benefit Coordinator is a full-time position that coordinates new and existing customers through all stages of the implementation of pharmacy and medical/pharmacy combined benefits and any plan changes.
This position will notify the selected PBM of the new customer and provide initial set-up information while working with the Implementation Coordinator and Plan Documents Department in the review of the new customer's Rx benefit structure. This position will also prepare Rx plan design forms and provide any required documents to the PBM. They must stay current on communication with the PBM and their processes and requirements for new customer implementation, as well as communicate any applicable Rx benefit information internally. They will follow the implementation progress from start to finish, working through any questions or issues.
The PBM Benefit Coordinator will report any plan changes to the existing customer-selected PBM and follow through with implementing said changes. They must stay current on communication with the PBM and their processes and requirements for existing customer plan changes. This position will also identify and troubleshoot shared accumulator issues. As with new customers, this person must communicate internally any applicable existing customer Rx benefit information or issues.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Medical/dental Benefit plan knowledge is helpful.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to interpret a spreadsheet. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills are vital. Strong attention to detail is a must. Ability to interpret plan document language and benefits. Strong math skills. Good organizational tracking skills. Ability to manage multiple customers at different stages of implementation. Must have good writing skills using proper grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Self-motivated and self-starter.
Excellent attendance.
As with any job, there may be other tasks assigned, as necessary.
Hours Required:
40 hours per week - Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay Basis: Hourly
