Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced PCBA Test Technician to join our growing team. Reporting to the PCBA Director, the PCBA Test Technician will perform electrical test on PCB Assemblies using a flying probe equipment and troubleshoot test failures.
This role will work on our 2nd shift from 2:30 to 11 PM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform flying probe test on PCBAs.
- Develop test programs for flying probe tester.
- Maintain flying probe tester.
- Assist with debugging/troubleshooting and root cause identification of test failures.
- Utilize manual test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power supplies to test and troubleshoot failed PCBAs.
- Interpret test requirements by reading work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
- Document and report all tested and WIP (work in progress) PCBAs.
- Generate and close-out non-conformance reports for failed PCBAs.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks and following all procedures and processes to Terran Orbital standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements
Qualification and Skills
- 5+ years of experience with PCBA testing in a high-mix mid-volume environment (8+ years preferred)
- Working experience with operating flying probe equipment
- Familiarity with ESD and 6S housekeeping practices.
- Working knowledge IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
- Experience with engineering documents (drawings, BOMs, schematics…)
- Capable of interacting with PC-based operating systems (Microsoft Suite, MES, ERP, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to work in a cross-functional capacity and be trained to perform all manufacturing-related processes.
- Energy and passion for inventing and creating new solutions, challenging the status quo, and driving positive change.
Additional Differentiators
- Experience with Takaya flying probe systems.
- Experience with manual assembly of SMT components.
- Current or prior certification of J-STD-001.

Salary Range $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
