Northeast Arc’s ABA Services
provide a continuum of consistent, evidence-based direct care and services for children, teens, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Individualized treatment programs are developed by a Board-Certified Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LABA) based on assessments, consultation, and person-centered plans to meet the needs of the individual served. Our Behavior Therapists work in a team atmosphere alongside BCBAs, Early Intervention staff, families, and caregivers. Our programs facilitate interactions through Natural Environment Training and capitalize on organic opportunities for engagement with our kids using an evidence-based approach.
Behavior Technicians will:
- Provide home, community, and clinic-based support to individuals 3 to 22 years old
- Teach goals and skills outlined in the treatment plans and implement behavior strategies developed by the BCBA (clinical supervisor)
- Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and individual supervisions.
- Complete required session notes and data and any additional non-clinical paperwork
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or associate's degree is preferred in ABA or a related field.
- One year or more of experience working with children.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills, and flexibility.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, able to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of professionalism.
- Valid Driver’s license and vehicle
Pay rate: up to $25/hr, depending on background and experience!
Schedule: M-F 3 PM – 6 PM
