POSITION TITLE: Full Time Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Regional Program Director
Part-time, 30 hours/week

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Syracuse Regional office in a variety of functions. They will provide clerical, administrative, and general office related duties in support of the early intervention and preschool programming of Liberty POST. The Administrative Assistant position plays a pivotal role in supporting families to access quality services for children, primarily birth to 5 years of age.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides administrative support to Regional Program Director, supervisors, clinical staff, and other administrative assistants as directed.
- Tracks the following: client consent forms, client discharge summaries, Behavior Intervention Plans; IEP attestations and CPSE Coordination logs and client scripts (OT, PT and Speech), sends for OT/PT scripts for evaluations, quarterly reports, transition reports and CPSE annual review process.
- Scans and processes early intervention and preschool documents, performs data entry (Provider Soft/McGuinness) and files client information.
- Prepares correspondence and mailings as needed including family surveys, client welcome letters, regional social functions, and special projects, as needed.
- Follows up with service coordinators; county and/or CPSE chairpersons regarding missing authorizations/missing paperwork for EI/CPSE client services as needed.
- Documents IFSP/CPSE meeting results and enters EI/CPSE temporary authorizations for clinicians.
- Maintains confidentiality of client records.
- Works well in a collaborative and team driven environment.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines as well as checking and responding to e-mail daily.
- Follows mandatory guidelines according to the corporate policies and procedures manual, the regional policies and procedures and the regional administrative policies and procedures.
- Effectively and positively communicates and works with related agencies, community members, clients, families and co-workers.
- Takes responsibility for quality of own work.

Education:
High School diploma

Pay: $16.50/hour
