This position is fully responsible for the project billing process, processing of payments to sub-contractors and vendors, ...TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of technical or accounting related experience, plus 3-5 years experience of construction accounting.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS (positions in this class typically require):
• Valid Wisconsin Driver License
KNOWLEDGE (position requirements at entry):
• Strong analytical, interpretation skills and attention to detail.
• Possess a working knowledge of construction field operations and the disciplines required to be part of a construction project team.
• Knowledge of Construction Management Software and financial software.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
SKILLS (position requirements at entry):
• Using computers and related software;
• The ability to: process verbal information; understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; and communicate with others to convey information effectively.
• The ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions.
• The ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.
• The ability to frequently meet deadlines with attention to detail and to complete tasks and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, and others sufficient to exchange or convey information.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
