PROJECT ENGINEER - Manufacturing - Gpac

We are currently working with an Industrial Machinery & Equipment Manufacturer in the Houston area that is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer that has a background in mechanical engineering and proven experience in project management, particularly in packaged solutions for the power generation and oil & gas industries.

Key Responsibilities::

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while achieving project objectives.

• Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop skid systems based on customer specifications. Utilize CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and improve efficiency in skid manufacturing and project execution.

Qualifications::

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks experience preferred) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

• Strong knowledge of skid design for fluid systems, integration, and electrical/control systems preferred.

The salary range is $100-120k
