Job Summary:
Support sterile and non-sterile packaging development for Spine and Biologics product lines, ensuring compliance with EU MDR guidelines and effective project management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
- 2 to 7 years of experience preferred (Internship experience accepted)
- Proficiency in CREO drawing software
- Experience with sterile packaging and medical device packaging development
- Project management experience, including MS Project timelines and design history file management
- Strong quality documentation and reporting experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test a wide variety of packaging containers for product protection, display, and handling
- Determine packaging specifications based on product nature, cost limitations, legal requirements, and protection needs
- Ensure packaging solutions meet resistance requirements for external factors such as moisture, chemicals, temperature variations, light, heat, handling, and tampering
- Design package exteriors considering product identification, workflow, aesthetic quality, printing, and production techniques
- Update existing documentation to align with state-of-the-art file expectations
- Ensure EU MDR guidelines are met and recommend remediation steps as needed
- Support prototype line development in manufacturing facilities and assist with documentation management or coordination of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
