Kennedy Painting of St. Louis, Missouri, is currently looking for a full-time Painter Apprentice to assist our experienced painters while learning the ropes of this skilled trade. This position in the skilled trades offers a starting wage of $16.00-$18.00 per hour with full benefits and the potential for a pay increase after the first 30 days. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PAINTER APPRENTICE

As a Painter Apprentice, you are eager to learn by asking questions, observing, and embodying the values of Kennedy Painting. You work alongside experienced painters and carpenters, helping with job site setup and cleanup. As their assistant, you receive hands-on training and mentorship in everything from completing carpentry and painting tasks to professionally interacting with clients. You are a dedicated worker, always willing to help, and you take in every lesson. Interacting with clients and your colleagues brings you satisfaction. • Ability to use and lift ladders up to 32 feet

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed at various locations within a 30-mile radius of Sunset Hills, with occasional exposure to harsh conditions, such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and changing weather. Employees are required to follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands listed here represent those necessary for an employee to successfully carry out the essential functions of this role. While performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel, reach with arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate effectively. The ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. is essential.
