Position Description
The University of Louisville Department of Medicine Division of Palliative Medicine has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time physician with an interest in academic palliative medicine.
Responsibilities include a mix of clinical care, education, or clinical research opportunities within an academic setting. Primary clinical responsibilities include staffing our inpatient consultation service at UofL Health-Jewish Hospital and University Hospital along with outpatient clinics in a teaching setting. Physician will work with an established team of individuals - palliative medicine fellow; full-time chaplain, psychologist, and nurse practitioner; house-staff and students. Candidates should be BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Candidates who have completed fellowships in Palliative Medicine are preferred. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
