About the Job
CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company which provides occupational medical services nationwide, has an excellent opportunity for highly motivated Paramedic with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills.
The CareOnSite Paramedic is responsible for providing basic first aid through life-saving medical care to all persons working within the confines of the site
This position will include work in both a clinical setting, as well as a field setting working as part of a team or alone.
Responsibilities and Duties
Respond to emergencies throughout the site efficiently and promptly.
Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any work site incidents and hazards.
Demonstrate a strong ability to be cognoscente of the constantly changing worksite environment and site hazards.
Ensure that quality, clinical standards are practiced always.
Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible.
Qualifications and Skills
Active State Paramedic license
Active BLS certification
3 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g
ER department or 911 contracted ambulance service)
911 experience is required
