Overview
ASSISTANT MANAGER
It is the responsibility of the Asst. Operations Manager to assist the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Finance Manager to ensure the safe and efficient daily operation of the Parking Facility. Responsibilities of the Operation's Managers include, but are not limited to:
- Reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager of Company. May act of behalf of the Assistant or General Manager during his or her
- absence.
- Respond to all on-site customer and telephone customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Approve promissory notes outlined in the Supervisor's Procedures.
- Responsible for maintenance of Company vehicles.
- Responsible for ticket inventory and for recommending order quantities.
- Responsible for all Company maintenance functions, inclusive of storage areas.
- Oversee supervisory functions to ensure cash handling and accounting processes are completed.
- Responsible for safety meetings and all facility safety issues concerning employees and customers as part of the Company's safety program.
- Responsible for the supervision of money collection and overall cash handling and reporting.
- Responsible for public relations regarding the parking facilities and operation thereof.
- Assists in compiling and updating the Procedure Manual.
- Abide by and ensure adherence to established policies, rules, procedures and regulations of the Authority as applicable to the parking facilities.
- Act as the Customer Service Coordinator for the operation.
- Implement and monitor customer service training program.
- Implement and monitor the local employee incentive program.
- Recruit and train those employees who shall act as customer service facilitators.
- Development and oversight of the training program.
- Maintains all training records.
- Responsible for assisting the Assistant General Manager in the following areas:
- Written or oral communication with employees - dissemination of new or updated policies and/or procedures.
- Written or oral communication with the Human Resources office - employee evaluations, disciplinary documentation, payroll information, etc.
- Overall assistance with employee supervision and employee relations.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate documentation of all issues related to the operation.
- Review all discrepancy logs and discuss with appropriate individuals.
- Oversight of the Valet operation, including special events.
- Responsible for accuracy and completion of Ticket Accountability report.
- All other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
