This is a part-time position, 32 hours per two-week period; schedule includes every-other weekend.

About the Role:

As a full-time Nurse Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in the Myers Hall Assisted Living Community at Bishop Gadsden, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our residents. We’re looking for individuals with exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for senior care. Prior experience as a Caregiver in an Assisted Living setting is required and State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Provide compassionate personal care, including assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Dining Assistance: Support residents with dining needs, including escorting them to the dining room and assisting with in-room dining services.
• Promote Independence: Encourage residents to maintain their independence and achieve their highest level of functioning.
• Infection Control: Adhere to standard infection control precautions in all aspects of resident care.
• Care Delivery: Follow the care plan to ensure the highest quality of care for each resident.
• Communication: Exchange reports on resident conditions at the start and end of each shift  and update Clinical Supervisors and the Myers Hall Manager with any significant changes.
• Documentation: Accurately document all resident care information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) on a daily basis.
• Emergency Response: Carry and respond to resident call alerts promptly and respond to emergency situations in accordance with facility procedures.
