Our client, a painting company in Landisville, PA is seeking a motivated Part-Time Accounting and Admin. Asst. to handle daily accounting tasks and provide essential administrative support. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in both independent and team settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations & Financial Management:
- Manage routine tasks (emails, payables, banking) and assist with payroll processing, 401(k) deposits, and bank reconciliations.
- Master QuickBooks processes and obtain necessary insurance certificates.
- Responsible for managing accounts receivable.

Communication & Coordination:
- Respond professionally to emails and coordinate with supervisors and external partners on accounting issues.
- Ensure accurate documentation for subcontracts and insurance.

Additional Duties:
- Assist with insurance claims and performance evaluation preparation.
- Maintain or obtain a Notary Public credential.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with payroll, job costing, and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Notary Public credential (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in office management or administrative support.
Pay Rate: $20-$23 (DOE)
Hours: Part-Time; 15-30hrs. during business hours.
