InvigorateHR, a dynamic human resource consulting firm in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a driven and client-focused Consultant to join its team. This is a part-time role working approximately 10-15 hours per week, mostly virtual but may require client visits and in-person meetings. Availability during normal business hours is required.
As a Consultant, you will apply your broad HR knowledge and expertise to understand client needs and develop practical solutions. Your key responsibilities include:
Client Needs Assessment (40%)
- Meet with clients to understand their businesses, goals, and HR needs
- Ask thorough questions to assess the "big picture" and client's ultimate objectives
- Collect relevant information to formulate appropriate HR solutions
Project Planning & Execution (40%)
- Plan, manage, and execute HR consulting projects per established plans
- Ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact project outcomes
- Provide innovative and forward-thinking HR solutions
- Present completed projects, interpret outcomes, and assist with implementation
Client Relations (20%)
- Build strong relationships by serving as a trusted HR advisor
- Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates
- Gather client feedback to continuously improve services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong training content development and facilitation experience
- HR certification (SHRM, PHR, SPHR) preferred
- Expertise in HR laws, compliance, policies, and best practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
