Part-Time Office Manager
A well-established wealth management firm in Tysons, VA is seeking a part-time, onsite, reliable Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy office. This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) with flexibility in scheduling.
The Office Manager role is critical to maintaining operations and supporting a collaborative work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Office Management: Keep the office running smoothly by managing supplies, ensuring communal areas (like the kitchen) are clean and stocked, and coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Administrative Support: Oversee shared office logistics, including coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling minor technology or equipment issues.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for office-related matters, knowing when to resolve issues independently and when to escalate them.
- Facilities Coordination: Monitor office equipment and manage repairs or maintenance to avoid disruptions.
- Communication & Coordination: Liaise with the managers of the three businesses within the office to ensure alignment on shared resources and office needs.
- Hospitality & Culture: Ensure the kitchen and communal areas are welcoming coffee made, mugs clean, and snacks replenished.
Requirements:
- Prior office management, administrative, or operations experience
- Problem-Solver: Comfortable identifying and resolving minor issues independently but knows when to seek help if needed.
- Friendly and Competent: Personable, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Flexible and Reliable: Open to creating a schedule that fits around travel or personal commitments
- Not a Stepping-Stone Position: This role is best suited for someone looking for a long-term, part-time opportunity, rather than a temporary job or career stepping stone.

- Work Environment: Office houses three distinct businesses with separate payrolls, which makes effective communication and coordination crucial.
- No Benefits: This position will not be eligible for benefits as it is under 30 hours per week.
