Sylvan Learning Center is looking for a Part-Time Operations and Chief Energy Officer.
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, and energetic individual eager to make learning fun and lead the center to run efficiently!
You will be responsible for the smooth operations of the center. This includes data entry, account reconciliation, organization of HR files, answering the phones, greeting customers, scheduling appointments, confirming appointments and assisting the Center Director in any other assigned duties.
The perfect candidate would also teach when needed and assist students and Directors in any way possible. This person supports the Center Directors and Directors of Education in compiling student data in preparation for our Ongoing Conferences with our families. You also would help in assisting in student/teacher schedule changes and effectively communicating the changes to all needed parties.

Requirements:
- The amount of hours would range from 15-20+ hours per week. Summer is our busy time.
- We have instruction Monday - Thursdays 4pm - 8pm. At least two nights a week and some Saturdays are part of the schedule.
- Seeking applicant who seeks long-term employment and wants to contribute not just earn a paycheck.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Resiliency matters.
- Must be available during the week and some weekend days every month.
- School Year Instruction Calendar:
Monday through Thursday: 4-8 PM
Saturdays: 8-12 PM
- During the summer we have extended morning hours
- Enthusiastic, welcoming demeanor and professional customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer proficient, ready to learn our center operations software.
- Organizational skills and ability to self-direct.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce high-quality and accurate work.
