2 openings for a large Healthcare Company as a Part-time Patient Service Representative working fully remote!
MUST BE LOCATED IN AZ! Will be required to pick up equipment onsite.
Training: 40 hours per week M-F, 8am to 5pm (4 to 6 weeks) - paid training
Schedule: 20 hours per week M&Tu - 8 hour shift, We-Fr will work one 4 hour shift - Must be available 6am to 6pm
Description:
- Schedule and register patient appointments and/or provide information for other requests (e.g., addresses/directions, phone numbers, hours of operations, other departments, such as billing, etc.). Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
- As appropriate, assist new members with introduction to and explanation of available services, processes and availability of providers.
- Update patients of the status of their referral or authorizations.
- Answers, screens, and processes a high volume of incoming calls in a professional manner. Directs patient access to the practice by scheduling and canceling patient appointments for a multiple providers.

Qualifications:
- Experience in a patient-focused
- 1 year healthcare environment
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Cert Preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant Diploma or Cert Preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish - highly preferred
- Utilizes supplies appropriately and participates in recycle and re-use programs
- Discharges and transfers patients timely
- Follows safety policies for self and patients
