Our client, a family-owned company with a history spanning over 100 years, has recently experienced growth through expansion and is seeking an Parts Inventory Specialist, who is eager to join a growing organization.
The Parts Inventory Specialist will utilize their mechanical and electrical aptitude to manage the check-in, check-out, and ordering of parts and supplies for the plant, ensuring the availability of critical components for smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

Identify, categorize, and track mechanical and electrical parts, including specialized components
Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies such as missing, mislabeled, or misplaced parts
Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and engineers to ensure accurate and timely part availability
Maintain an organized parts inventory, prioritizing critical components for machinery and electrical systems
Ensure essential parts are stocked to prevent downtime and support smooth plant operations
Assist in repairs or installations by efficiently providing the correct tools and components
Review technical specifications to ensure correct parts are ordered for specific machinery or systems
Monitor part usage trends to anticipate inventory needs and optimize stock levels
Ensure timely reordering of high-demand or frequently used parts to avoid shortages
Implement improvements in inventory management processes based on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience ordering parts and supplies within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components in industrial machinery.
Proficient in inventory management
