WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal Parts Manager has some managerial experience, but it's not required. Here are the minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with an agricultural parts business
- Strong understanding of financial management and inventory control
- Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office and standard internet applications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to regularly stand, climb, bend, use a computer, and lift 50 pounds
Parts Manager DAY-TO-DAY
In this managerial role, you oversee our parts department and staff and handle the essential aspects of our day-to-day operations. This is a very dynamic position where you manage staff, maintain our inventory control systems, and ensure we provide excellent customer service. Aiming to optimize our parts department, you set staff schedules, monitor workload, track key performance indicators, and set up training opportunities as needed. You also help recruit, interview, and hire new personnel who can bring something valuable to the team.
In addition to managing staff, you help promote and advertise our products and accessories. You maintain departmental paperwork to keep us organized, conduct physical inventory counts to check accuracy, and attend educational sessions to improve your managerial skills! Your desire to excel and commitment to customer service make you a vital member of our team!
