About the Job
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must have excellent credentials, including at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a similar discipline. The candidate should have significant experience as a patent attorney in the electrical arts, preferably software, electronics, signal processing, communications, and be in good standing with the USPTO. A successful candidate must be highly skilled in all aspects of patent prosecution practice before the USPTO, and have extensive knowledge of the patent laws, rules and practices associated therewith.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The position involves drafting patent applications, working directly with clients/inventors to ascertain claiming strategies and technical details about inventions, and preparing recommendations and responses to US and foreign office actions.
