Job Summary
Our firm seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its Patents practice group, working from the Washington, D.C. office.
Qualifications
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of patent law experience (including Patent Agent experience). A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, or Physics is required and a Master's degree or Ph.D. in a similar field is a plus.
All qualified candidates must have a valid USPTO Registration number, be able to efficiently manage a busy patent prosecution docket, and have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed writing and analytical skills. Some experience with patent litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings is preferred. Mandarin language skills are also preferred.
