Pathways Development Program - Associate Accountant at Scoular

As an Associate Accountant you will have the opportunity to assist the Corporate Accounting group in preparing and maintaining necessary bank reconciliations for Scoular and its subsidiaries, booking journal entries in selected areas, applying and clearing all drafts presented for payment, processing payables, as well as sending out daily communications to the corporate accounting and the finance groups.  As an Associate Accountant, you will: Timely and accurate tax compliance preparation to include compiling data and supporting documentationPerform tax research to assist in analyzing tax transactions and issuesGain experience with sales/use tax, property tax, incentive work, and grow into other areas of tax as you learnAssist in the planning and execution of operational, financial, and compliance auditsUse data analytic tools to extract and analyze data to identify trends and potential issuesCollaborate with risk owners and other business leaders to support the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management program  Who you are: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Interested in a career where you can apply quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills  Attentive and pay high attention to details  Able to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment Accountable and take responsibility for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments   RequirementsWho you are: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Interested in a career where you can apply quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills  Attentive and pay high attention to details  Able to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment Accountable and take responsibility for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
