Responsibilities
Performs basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
+ Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
+ Assists in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
+ Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate.
+ Record all observations.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
Education :
+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
