Client Overview:

Our client is a renowned medical practice with various locations throughout the area. Their mission is to provide top-of-the-line patient care while providing their staff with a warm and welcoming environment. They are currently looking to hire a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr

Position Overview:

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role, serving as the first point of contact for patients and staff. They will ensure a smooth operation at the front desk and manage various administrative tasks. The schedule is as follows: Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator:

• Work with patients directly to collect and verify insurance documentation.
• Maintain office inventory levels.
• Greet patients and ensure they are checked in properly.
• Schedule upcoming appointments and notify patients of any cancellations.
• Report directly to the Provider onsite and ensure that all patients have a seamless experience.

Qualifications for the Patient Care Coordinator:

• Multitasker and must be able to work well under high pressure.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor is a must!

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
