Responsibilities:
- Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments, making sure scheduling processes are well-organized and meet patient needs.
- Phone Support: Provide quality phone support to both internal and external customers, adhering to established quality metrics, and addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- New Patient Coordination: Oversee the process of onboarding new patients, ensuring they have a positive and informative introduction to our healthcare services.
- Patient Communication: Respond to patient requests through incoming phone calls, portals, or written requests, ensuring patients receive prompt and helpful assistance.
- Check-In and Check-Out: Perform patient check-in and check-out activities as appropriate, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients.
- Financial Transactions: Collect copays and outstanding balances as part of the financial procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an administrative and/or customer service-oriented environment.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a medical environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
