Patient Services Representative - Hannibal Regional Hospital

Ensures all patient health information is accurately scanned and filed into EHR. Ensures confidentiality and integrity of medical records. Performs prior authorizations, pre-certifications and benefits investigations prior to procedure.

• Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent required
• Health information experience preferred
• Computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn health information systems
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding preferred
• Demonstrates effective oral & written communication skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of physician office activities
• Demonstrates ability to use office equipment
• Maintain BLS certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of documentation systems
